Now that they've told him to stay away from the holy beast, he can't help but think about how awesome it is that he has to fight it. He's even more excited when he realizes that he can use the nine-star's power to break the cable. He wants to use the lunar blade to crack the scepter's tentacles, but he can only use a third of what the nine stars are releasing right now. He figures that if he were to unleash the power through his body, he'd be torn to shreds. Luckily, he knows that he could use the "other divine ability" to harness the power of the stars. Now that he understands how powerful the stars are, he figures out that he doesn't need to use his body to do it.
