The disembodied voice of the god asks if he will be able to fight back if he follows the pattern of the sword-slasher. The god explains that he is the god, and that he has changed his rules of wind so that he cannot dodge the sword's slashes. He says that even though he has all the strength in the world, he cannot even cut off the swordsman's arms. He has formed a "film of innate energy" over his body, and he cannot let the swordman catch him. He tries to run away, but the space around him is too distorted, so he has to grab the sword. He knows that he will win the battle for sure, but he does not know who he is supposed to kill.
