About This Chapter
It's dark, and the desert is too dangerous to explore. He's not sure how to use the black spear, which is supposed to be like a god-like weapon. He wonders if he should just use the ring that Senior gave him. The ring is so powerful that it's equivalent to the power of a "great perfection true god" . He thanks Senior for giving him the rings, and says he'll bury him now. Three hours later, there's still no light. There's a group of people herding eagles. They're wearing weird worms, which are food for the eagles. The worms are probably native to the desert, so they're herding the eagles, which means that the worms are feeding on the eagles . This is a great opportunity for him to approach them, and he's going to try to get on one of the eagles to attack them. He can't understand why the worms would be so hostile, but he'd like to try and get on the other one. Six hours later , the desert seems to be turning into day, and that's awesome.
