The chapter opens with Ren saying that he never would have guessed that the ninth lamp of the Immortal tomb was in his possession. He's worried that it's a trap, but he's hopeful that it will be a great opportunity. He also says that six other elders are also joining him in his quest to find the tomb. Finally, he says, he finally gets to the Immortal Tomb. It's been 2,000 years since he first saw it. Ren compares it to the abyssal kun of a limbo cultivator. It devours everything in its path, which is why very few people ever make it there. He says that he'll use a puppet to look for the path ahead. He asks Senior if the tomb is really the Immortal. Senior says that it isn't. Ren says that the other gods don't know about the secret, so they're just ants to him. He adds that he will kill anyone standing in his way.
