This chapter begins with a description of the "god slaying strike" of the Heavenlord blade master. It is the most powerful strike that the Master has ever created. He has spent his entire life trying to create this strike, but it is only now that he has the chance to do so. He compares it to the "null style" of sword that he uses. The null style has a fixed move, whereas the god slaying strikes have no fixed move. The more proficient the Master is at controlling this strike the more powerful his attacks will become. This strike is so extreme that one must give up everything in order to counter it. Three days later, the cloud and the three days after that, he has greatly improved his skills. The next day, he plans to try this strike out.
