Back at the city, Renji tells Renji that if he can't fight anymore, he can come back to the city and have a negotiation with Luoxue. Renji says that he doesn't want to negotiate anymore, but he does want to test his limits. He says that even though Renji's body is as powerful as a divine weapon, his sabers aren't nearly as strong as Luxue's. They can still talk it out, but Renji wants to know what's going on. He asks Renji if he's able to control the distance between them, and she says that she's even able to do this with the power of "the five elements" . This is the first time Renji has ever been able to use such a powerful weapon, and Renji is impressed. He also says that the sea of lunar tide inside his body is so powerful that he can use it to increase his power even more. He wonders if he needs to replenish his body's energy with the tide, or if it's better to just kill him with brute force.
