In this chapter, we learn that the weak are the most vulnerable to the predations of the strong. In fact, the weakest are often the ones that are most easily preyed upon by the strongest. In other words, the weaker are usually the ones who are most likely to be eaten by the strong, and the stronger are usually those who are able to eat the weakest. This is especially true in the case of humans, who are the weakest of all the animals in the land. The commander tells the commander to bring along a younger girl, but the commander refuses, saying that little girls should not be picked until they are fourteen years old. This makes the commander even more furious, because he knows that the commander is planning on having some tender meat for dinner. He then explains that in demon's ranches, the cows and goats that are raised within the ranch will eventually grow fat enough to be slaughtered for meat.
