He asks about the man's family, and the man tells him that his brother, tianjian, is already living in the city. He also tells the man that he has made great progress in his quest to enter the divine realm. The man asks if he has something he wants to do with his time, and he says that he is looking for divine people called the "fear of the gods" to turn their "faith energy" into something that can be used for other purposes. He then asks the man if the stone he is using is the "congealing" light stone, which absorbs light at night. He says that to transform the "thing of fear" into "the faith energy" one must conjure up "unreal images" and then squelch "it's the Way of godhood." The man thanks the man for his help, and they part ways.
