He also wonders why luo-tianxing had to act so tough when he forced Yuner's hand. The narrator wonders what a jerk it was for him to force Yuner to kill him. He then wonders why the bird is taunting the bird. The bird is getting angry, and the narrator tells him to calm down. The power of the bird, he says, is the power of "the flame of nirvana." The bird will go through Nirvana every time it summons the flame of rebirth. When the bird goes through Nirvana, the bird will strengthen itself by releasing the flames of rebirth and incineration. The fire of rebirth will also strengthen itself when the bird gets in a pinch. The father wonders if they should try to get the bird out of the arena as well, but the narrator says that it seems that the bird does not want them to do so.
