This chapter opens with Luo zheng trying to find the giant sword that was left behind by the Toad. He wonders who left it, and wonders if they can take it along with them. He thinks that it will be useful later, when they can use it to refine weapons. He tells the blue dragon that if he can light up all of the scales, he will be able to rebuild the bodies of the nine dragons. He says that if they could rebuild their bodies, then they could see the world with their own eyes again. The blue dragon thanks him for his help, and says that he will help him once he's done lighting up the scales of all the other dragons. The other dragons are worried that they won't be strong enough to deal with the lasers if they move forward. They need to transfer some of their innate energy into the sword that Luo gave them.
