In this chapter, we learn that the Chaos realm is at least ten times larger than the rest of the universe, and that the laws of thunder and lightning are at least at the 10th layer of the earth's atmosphere. The Chaos realm travel journal is only a tiny fraction of the library, and it would take many years to read all the books left behind by the former owner. The narrator asks the book spirit if there are any technique manuals available in the library. The book spirit answers that there are many but that it will depend upon the reader's compatibility. He then asks if there is any skill of god among the many techniques in the world, and the narrator answers that those skills must be ones that involve the law of causation. The ring of light enters and tells the narrator that he will find a book for him that will suit his needs. He is not interested in reading random manuals, and he will wait for his pupil to teach him new stuff once he reaches the stars. The rumble of the blue frost magic ice manual fills the narrator with a sense of wonder. He wonders why there were so many books at once, and wonders if there was something wrong with his magic. He can identify the weaknesses and strengths of cultivators, which means that different cultivators have different abilities. If someone has all of the same abilities, it means that they have no weaknesses and that their abilities are balanced. This means that all of those books are suitable for him, but it is not for him.
