In the city of Tieyue, a demon named Zhan Gui is busy cultivating his black flame pearl, which has a destructive power. He tells Gui that he has to defeat him first before he can challenge him. He says that the children of heaven have not yet arrived, but that if Gui can beat him, he will challenge him directly. He then reveals that his right chest has a big flaw, which was caused by his father's neglect in making him a body. Finally, he reveals that there is a "child of heavens" in his body, and that it is the "black flame pearl." He explains that he came to save "the impetus in the universe" by charging at the enemy with his way of truth-godhood. He also reveals that one of the beads of life that he had hidden around his body is gone, and he says that he will kill the woman in one blow, for the "propel of our universe." He then explains that the bead in his calf is one of three beads that he hid in the body. He thinks that he can kill her after hitting the other flaws, but he knows that he must kill her first, for he has only one bead left. He wonders if the "great domination technique" is useless, and wonders if it is only those who have brains that choose it.
