The chapter opens with a flashback to the beginning of the previous chapter, in which the protagonist explains that he has only ten millionth of the monster's power. He is shocked to learn that the monster is only a few hundred miles away from him. The protagonist realizes that he cannot use his full power to destroy the entire world. He wonders why the monster would appear in such a dangerous place and why he is taking Luo Yan away. He realizes that the gap between the two monsters is too great to cross.
