This chapter's epigraph comes from a famous poem by the famous poet, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Longfellow's poem, "The Hero's Tale," is about a young man who has fallen in love with a beautiful woman and is about to fall in love again when suddenly he realizes that he is falling in love. He realizes that his love for the woman is so great that he cannot bear to lose it. He decides that he will have to find a way to get his love back, and he resolves to do just that.
