About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a shot of a baby. It's a girl named Julia, and she's about to give birth to a baby girl. She's got a baby brother named Finn, and a baby sister named Caryn, who's just turned one. The baby is a girl, and the baby brother is a vampire. Julia and Finn are sitting on a couch together, and they're talking about the vampire. They're both worried about what's going to happen to their baby brother. They don't really know what to do, but they both know that the vampire is going to try to kill them. The vampire tries to bite the baby, but it's too late. Julia punches the vampire in the face, and then she sees that some of her vampire makeup has fallen off her hand. She realizes that the red glow on her hand is actually a vampire's blood, and that she'll have to fight the vampire to get it off her.
