About This Chapter
Back at the crime scene, Detective gleason and his assistant, Sara Pezzini, are trying to figure out what happened to the body of the murdered rabbi. They've got a photo of the body, but they don't have any evidence to back up their story. They ask the captain if he'd be willing to transfer out of a special case to another one. The captain says he's as likely to be shot by a drug dealer as he is to be eaten by a wolfman. He tells the captain that he wants to be with him at work, wherever he goes. He asks the captain what he would do if he were a man, and the captain replies that he would like to be at work with him. He says that despite his lack of supernatural powers, he knows how to take care of himself at work. He also says that even if he didn't, he would still like to work with the captain. They talk about how they've been sent over to the scene of the crime, where they're going to interview the rabbi's family and friends. They decide to go back the next day.
