In this chapter, Sara tells us that she's been bitten by the witchblade. She's not sure what's going on, but she doesn't trust it to help her. The witchblade keeps trying to get her to leave her alone, and she keeps getting frustrated. Finally, she tells us, she'd rather be with her dog than with a bunch of strangers. She says she'll help her dog find its way back to her, and then they can get back to being friends. She tells us about how she used to have a crush on her husband, and how she tried to get him away from her. Then, she says, she found out that she was pregnant, and that's when she realized that he was all she wanted. So she tried everything she could to make him come back, but he just swallowed it all up. She wonders if this is the kind of thing that happens when you're pregnant. And then she says that she has come to get what belongs to her. She wants to know what the deal is, and what she can do to get it. She asks what she plans to do with her new found freedom, and the answer is that it's all over between her and the witch blade. And what if she does come back? Well, of course, she probably wouldn't be able to.
