In this chapter, we learn that Sara is back in the New York City police department, and she's not happy about it. She tells us that she used to be a family friend of Joe's, but now that he's back in charge of the department, she wants to know what's been going on with his murder case. She asks the police chief if he knows anything about it, and the chief says that he does, and that they've got a warrant for his arrest. Sara tells the chief that she'd like to talk to him, but that she doesn't want to get into a fight with her family. The chief tells her that his partner in crime is a detective named Mccarthy, and they're looking for information about the murder. Sara says that she knows who the killer was, but she'll never tell anyone, because her family would never let her see them. The detective says that his brother-in-law was murdered one day, but he didn't tell anyone about it because he was too busy with his job. The cop says that the killer's weapon was made to fit a goddess , and this time, it's perfect. Sara calls the detective a "nutcase" and says that her husband is a murderer, too, because he stole money from her. She says that they need to stop the gang war before things get too bad.
