About This Chapter
In this chapter, we're introduced to a new character named David. He's the kind of guy who'd be a perfect babysitter for a girl like sara. We find out that he's a bit of a punk and that his name is "David" . We also learn that he has a "snobby britches" accent, which makes him sound like a "European" guy. We're also introduced to the guy's mom, who's kind of a jerk to sara, but hey, she's her own boss. We learn that sara's dad, Captain Percy, is a pretty nice guy, too. David asks to meet Captain Percy's mother, and sara says that she'd like to meet her, too, but she'll have to wait for Captain Percy to show up. Captain Percy isn't a bad guy, after all, but he doesn't look like he'd do a good job of being a good dad. David tells sara that he wants to get her changed, and then he and Captain Percy go off to find a new outfit for her.
