About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the plot to kill Sara has been in motion for some time. We're told that it's not that she's trying to kill nottingham, but rather that she wants to kill him so that she can get revenge on him for killing her. We learn that this is not the first time that Sara has tried to kill Nottingham; in fact, she tried it before, back in the day, but it didn't work. We also learn that it was not her intention to kill her, but that she wanted to do it because she was a cop and she had sworn an oath of protection. She's just trying to protect herself, she says, and not to kill someone else. She wants to get revenge, she tells us, and she wants the rest of her life to be devoted to that goal. She doesn't want to be a cop, but she also wants to protect her soul, and that's why she wants her life devoted to her soul. She also wants her soul to be connected to her body, and to be united in her mind, so that her soul can't be separated from her body.
