In this chapter, we learn that the "sacred phantom palace" was once the home of a "supreme expert" from ancient times, but it has been closed off from the outside world ever since. In fact, the doors of the palace only open once a six-year period, and there are countless treasures hidden among the deadly traps. The demon god sect will invade the palace in the 60 years that has passed since the last time it was open, and steal many of the treasures. This is why the two "heavenly fate realm experts" are chasing him. He explains that he killed them because they tried to steal the "magic scarlet mist stone" from him, but he can't reveal it to them because he's just a heavenly fate realm expert. The magic stone, he explains, is a scarlet mist that can only be forged into a grade 5 . It's also a rare stone that he can sell to friends because he doesn't know how to use it. He knows that there are thousands of illusions and ecstasy arrays outside the palace, but they're too difficult to break. They're just heaven-fate realm experts, so they'd rather not go inside the palace with him. But, he says, he'll take the two of them to the palace anyway. He'll give them fifty-fifty of the magic
