The chapter opens with a soliloquy by Luo Ming, who tells the others that he must protect his nephew at all costs. He also wonders if the black spring on the plateau has just been buried, and that all the inhabitants of the plateau have reached glory city. He then wonders why there are so many people in the area, and why they are so close to one another. He tells them that one hour later, they find out that it is the Wugui family, who have gathered a bunch of experts to figure out where they are going. They wonder if the dark guild has exposed a traitor to the family, and they wonder if they have kept the glory city for their own benefit. They also wonder if there is a way to fend off the ten thousand demons arrayed against them, since they have so many rivals.
