This chapter opens with a flashback to the events of the previous chapter. In this flashback, the Black Knight explains that he still has the black blood that he used to lock the others up. He tells them that he will use this blood to seal the souls of the two of them together, so that they will not be able to harm each other again. He also says that if they die, he will try to free them. The Black Knight tells the others to follow him for 50 and then he will set them free. He says that he has been able to create a celestial qilin that will become one with the blood of the dead. He explains that the future will be bright, but that they must face the fact that it will be very hard for them to reunite with the ruins. They will have to do so, he says, because the future is bright. He then says that the inscription patterns in the ruins indicate that they are the result of the soul seal technique he used. He adds that the brother of the merging will be enhanced, making him a supreme genius.
