This chapter opens on a street in London. It's the middle of the night, and a group of young people are hanging out on the street below. They're talking trash, and one of the young men says something like, "I don't know what to do, but I'm going to hang out with some of the coolest people in London." The narrator is all, "Dude, I've got to figure out a way to get out of here." He's got a plan: he's going to go to the top floor of the building, where he'll be able to catch a glimpse of the "coolest people in the world" .
