This chapter opens with a soliloquy by a demon lord. The lord tells the audience that he is from a city called "gloomy glory city" and that he has been living there for thousands of years. He tells the story of how the city has survived the onslaught of demon beasts and how he and his family have sacrificed their lives to keep the city alive. The city has one million people and several hundred thousand people are trained in martial arts such as swordsmanship, boxing, and wrestling. There are also two legends about who is the most powerful demon in the world. The first is about a demon who is a bull shitter and the second is a spirit demon ualist.
