The city guards have been fighting with the demon beasts all day and night, and one third of them have been wiped out. The beasts are running away, and the city guards need to bring more red oil to keep them from attacking again. The bamboo pieces are still there, and they're ready to attack again. They're throwing rocks at the city, but they can't handle them. The only thing they can do now is to use the dark abyss as their only option.
