The next morning, Mistress Quickly wakes up and tells her father what happened the night before. Mistress Quickly says that the man who came to her bed was the same man who smacked her in the face the previous night, and that Mistress Quickly will not talk to her father about what happened that night because she doesn't want to be accused of anything. She says that she has healed her wounds and that her cultivation level has gone up. She also says that her father is looking for her and that she's ready to take his place as the heir to the family.
