This is a little too much for the lord, and he says he'll have no inspiration if he can't help laying down the array. He asks the lord not to worry about it, because he's already laid it down before, so the lord will be able to see the sunrise the next day. He's not worried about the safety of his citizens, he says, because the demon-array is supposed to protect them. He doesn't think the lord is lying, because if he didn't want to lay it down, he would have said two months, not five to ten. He goes to the lord's yard and tells him to put his heart and soul into the task.
