The next morning, Gu Heng tells the gang that they have cleared all the guards of the black-cloud deity's three lakes. He says that he doesn't know why they're doing this, but they can use the stones they've collected from the previous day's battle to get spiritual stones for the next battle. He tells them to go after the next one, and they do. They hear the rumble of thunder and rumble of rumble again, and the men are sure that the thunder-goddess's men are headed for the ancient realm's lake to destroy it. The men decide to go there, and when they find it, they realize that they'll have to kill all of the men. They'll be able to get some more spiritual stones from the destruction of the three lakes, and then they can see how the thunder god can step outside the world.
