We learn that the three black gold demon spiritualists who were imprisoned by the city have all died mysteriously. The city lord tells us that the dark guild is using a technique called "soul chain" to silence the captives. There were eight black gold spiritualists in all, including one who was killed by a colossal abyss demon and two who were killed by Ye Ling. Ye Ling tells the city lord that they must return to the demon lords and report back on what has happened to the captive. He tells them to bring a leaf of the "misty leaf herb" to the city and feed it on the captive so that he will be able to rise to the rank of legend.
