In this chapter, we learn that the "god of death" is no longer the "true day god" he once was. He's no longer able to control the laws of death. He says that he's the "spiritual god" of death, and that he has been able to do this for thousands and thousands of years. Now, he says, he can't control the law anymore, because he can no longer control the "divine sparks" that have been absorbing his power. He tells us that the master of the Nether realm taught him how to cultivate the power of the law, and he knows how to do it better than anyone else. The master of Nether realm is the one who shaped the world.
