About This Chapter
In this chapter, Hu-ling, the son of the central district boss, is introduced. He tells his father that he has come to bring some students from the west division to take the entrance exam to the east division. He asks his father to let the students of Hu-Lin take the exam first, since they are from the outer division. Hu-Ling, however, thinks that this is a bit inappropriate, since the students are the sons of an outer division boss. He then asks the boss if he should wait until other students take the test, since he has heard that the fathers of the two sons have had bad relations in the past. The boss replies that he would rather wait and enjoy the show than worry about his son's relationship with his father. In the meantime, the boss tells the students that the three divisions in the school are the same: the west, south, and north. The north division is the worst, and the west is the best. The east division is for those who have risen quickly in the west school, and those with sufficient potential. He wonders if there is an opportunity for him this time.
