In the middle of the night, Shuo wakes up to find that his father has gone to the city mansion. Shuo tells his father that the feast will begin soon, and that he and his father will have to stay at the city house for three days to prepare for the attack. Shuos father tells him that he can't leave because he's their biggest weakness, and Shuo promises to return soon. He tells Shuo that if his father or Shuo were in danger, he'd like to be back.
