This chapter opens with a loud explosion, followed by a series of lightning bolts. The lightning bolts are the result of an attack by the dark guild. The dark guild is the only faction in the universe that knows of the existence of the city, and they have assumed possession of it. As a result, they will not be able to reveal the city's secret to the rest of the universe for at least another two months.
