This chapter opens with a conversation between a young man and a goddess. The young man tells the goddess that he hasn't seen her in a few days. He tells her that he followed her orders and sold her the rest of the purple haze. The goddess tells the young man that she's still nicer to him than she was to her husband, and that he should ignore her. She tells him that they're going to go for a bath together. He says that he's not going, because he doesn't want to get into a fight with Lu Pu. The girl tells him to ignore him, and he does. She says that she and Lu Pu are going to take a bath, but that Lu Pu is not going to talk to her about anything constructive. He's just going to walk away, and the girl says
