This chapter opens with a flashback to the beginning of the previous chapter, in which we learn that the battle between Hu and Yu was fought in the ruins. The flashback shows that Hu was beaten up by Yu's men, and that Yu was beaten back by the hualing's army. In this flashback, Hu explains that he came to ask for help from his brother. He tells Hu that he needs to buy some demon spirits for him. He explains that there are many higher-level demon spirits than ordinary demon spirits, because they have dragon bloodlines. He also explains that if you need more than one kind of demon spirit, he can help you find the best one for you. He says that he will send someone to find him some of the best ones in the small worlds, and then he will pay him later. Hu then tells us that he has been cultivating 20,000 demon spirits a day, which is enough to cultivate two thousand times. He compares this to the amount of spiritual stones that ordinary students can buy from the market.
