In this chapter, the narrator tells us that the "veilous miles" painting is a treasure that can form a tiny world of it's own. Back then, two experts tried to hide the painting from the emperor, but they were killed by the emperor himself. The sage emperor doesn't like anything that threatens him, so the painting is in the tiny world because countless warriors sacrificed their lives to protect it. In the previous life, the emperor had become bolder because the goddess of the land had disappeared, and he could destroy land by burning it to the ground. In this life, he can't do that because the seal of the "tiny world" is so powerful that only those who came from that tiny world are allowed to enter and exit it.
