In this chapter, we find out that the seven "deadly sins" have been defeated and the demon lord has returned to his home country of Britain. Howzer is happy to hear that his favorite hero, Escanor, is coming home, and he wishes he could have a drink with his mom and dad. Escanor is ready to die, says howzer, but he says that he looks up to Escanor and that someday he'll look up to him too. He also says that now that the holy war is over, the people of Britain can live in peace. Howz says that an "imbalance between light and darkness" brings "times of chaos" . He thinks that Escanor's death was too cruel for him, but that he's found true love.
