The children's mother is overjoyed to see her children again. She tells the children that the earth has risen up like a giant wave, and that they should not touch her children if only she would have stayed with them. She says that she has never seen anything like that before, and wonders if it is an omen. The children ask her why she is going to the river, and she tells them that she means the one in the flyer from yesterday. She doesn't want to believe that a god would do such a thing, but she knows that she must turn to a god to protect her children.
