The King of the Fairies tells his friends that he has heard an explosion and that his curse has been lifted. The lightning rod that he uses to redirect magical attacks into the earth has also been lifted from him. He wonders why he never used it before, but now that he knows that the core of an island is in shambles, he decides to use it to his advantage. Eliza begs the King to protect her, but the King refuses. He tells her that he still loves her and will always do so. He asks her to show her he is a man, and she says that she will.
