This chapter opens with the sound of a gunshot. It's the location of the dimension warp, and the two of them are looking for it. They can't find it, because it's in the middle of nowhere. They're worried about what's going on in the city, but they don't know what to do. There's a lot of fighting going on, and they're afraid that the city is going to be overrun by the undead. The two men try to figure out a way to stop the fighting, but it doesn't work. They need to destroy the warp, because the undead are coming after them. The men decide that they need to kill the undead first, and then they'll be able to get back at the city.
