The scene opens with Desdemona's reaction to her brother's death. She tells him to fight back, or else she'll kill him. She's glad to see that he's not going to kill her, because she's going to save him from her. She also tells him that she knows more about him than anyone else, and that he hasn't even left her side yet. He's gone, she says, and she won't be able to stop him from killing her again. She asks him if he'll call for help from the seven "deadly sins" , and he says that that's his business, not his.
