About This Chapter
In this short scene, Desdemona tells her brother that she is on her way to the west side of the castle. She tells him to take a map and take her to where she is. He tells her that he is going to sleep, and she tells him that she will wake him up when he is ready to go to sleep. She asks him not to kill her brother, and he tells her not to touch him. He says that if she touches him, he will kill her. He then says that the new creatures are turning to monsters, and that he has gotten a signal from his brother, who is looking for him. When he hears the sound of a clang, he realizes that he will be killed. He curses his brother and says that he wishes they could have always been friends. He compares his brother's appearance to that of worms crawling in the ground, and curses him for the way he has changed. He also curses the chaos that has befallen the kingdom. He asks his brother to forgive him for his sins, and promises that they will meet again soon.
