About This Chapter
In this short scene, Friar Tuck and Little Em'ly continue their conversation about the "Seven Deadly Sins" . They discuss the possibility of a giant armor dud, which they believe to be one of those "deadly sins" , and decide to continue their meal. They joke that they are the "preface" of each of the seven sins: greed , envy , boar , gluttony , pride , stance , lion, and strike . Friar Tuck jokes that he is the "dragon sin of wrath" and that they should make the villagers pay them a coin as a "business fee" so that they will not have to walk all the way home. He also jokes that they could be in serious trouble if some "scared grown-ups" came out of the mountains and told them that they were in danger. He says that he has been looking for them for a long time and that one of the "holy knights" has come down from the mountains to help them.
