In this chapter, Ban tells us that he is about to die, and that he has seven "deadly sins" . He begs Ban not to take them at face value, because he is stronger than them. He tells Ban that he will kill him with his sword, and Ban promises to tell him the story of the seven deadly sins once more. When Ban asks where he is, the princess tells him that she is in the hawk's cage. When she asks where her father is, he tells her that she will soon be killed at the hands of her beloved knight.
