In the forest of White dreams, Desdemona and her companions are reunited with Dioane cain. They have destroyed both the forts of Dalmally and fort Solgres, and they are on their way to the capital. The kingdom and its knights are on high alert, so Desdemonas and company should avoid anything that might draw the king's attention. They are also suspicious of the giant pig and the giant girl, so they are going to ask them some questions so they can stop where they are. They also find that the other chick is also there, which is a good sign. The black hound is always on the lookout for its target, and it will keep on chasing it until it is either killed or completely keeled over. The king is dead, and both the prison and "weird fangs" have been destroyed. The two men go off to look for the king, but they don't find him.
