In this short scene, we learn that howzer is back in the ring after being knocked down by matrona. He's a childhood friend of Gilbert Thunder's, and he's been known to go "over the top" once he flips the switch. He tells us that he'd never seen a woman so strong as matrona, and that he hopes he can kill her if he wants to live. He says that if she lifts one foot, he'll be able to "hold my ground" . He asks if he can forgive him, and she says that they're "getting along just fine" , so he can get away from the guy. She says that she's going to see how strong he really is. She tells him to "show us another amaz-ing feat" and says that the way he defeated the king was by chance. He doesn't know if he remembers him, but he says that he wishes he were alive today, because it would have been a "necessary" thing for him to enter the ring.
