In this chapter, we learn that the archangels are not enemies with humans, but that they have suffered the loss of many of their loved ones. The four archangels have come to introduce themselves to the "willing vessels" of the goddesses, and they are sorry that they interrupted your discourse with them. The gods are not gods, they say, but they are human beings who have suffered a great deal. They offer to work together to avenge those who have lost their lives.
