About This Chapter
This chapter opens with Desdemona's triumphant return to the battlefield. He is overjoyed to have regained his "power back" and tells Horatio that he has sent him to the enemy camp to greet them. He tells Horatio he is going to kill the "predator" of the enemy forces and that he will be the first to do so. Horatio tells him that he is a little different this time around, as he has not been able to "push his feelings aside" . He says there is still a danger that he may be consumed by his anger and go "abrupt again" , but he says that he does not want to talk about it. He reminds Horatio that the war ended 3,000 years ago and that the British are now in a "land of peace" and he will crush them with everything they have.
