Helbram is still alive, but he's not the same guy he was before. He's still a coward, he says, and he can't do anything about it on his own. He says that the spirit of the holy tree is stronger than the physical strength of the average man. He compares his physical strength to that of a lion, and says that he almost cried when he saw how weak he was in the fight at the festival. If he just listened to what girl he was talking about, he wouldn't have to worry about anything. Instead, he'd just give back Eliza and let the two of them go back to the fighting. Eliza will be back, and they'll all be back together again. They'll be back in the fighting soon. Hebram says that it looks like they're going to take over the kingdom, and that's a good sign. Helbam says that they've already captured him, so he'll just have to wait and see what they do. He tells Eliza to hand over her little sister, Elizabeth, or else he won't condone threats to her.
